Rev. Jayne Howard Feldman’s
Angelic Newsletter
Fall 2006

Dear Angel Friends:

I want to remind everyone that if at anytime you find life is a bit on the overwhelming side, please do not hesitate to go to my website: www. earthangel4peace.com and fill out the prayer request form. By doing this, you will be placed in Raphael’s Guest Book. This is a prayer request book I keep in cooperation with Archangel Raphael – God’s angel of healing. I record your name and the names of loved ones you email to me, and then every morning and evening, I join with the angels in praying to God for divine support, guidance, love, peace for you and those you make prayer requests for. I do this for 21 days. And, of course, if after the 21 days you want me to continue, simply email me again. There are many ways that life’s challenges leave us feeling chilled; often times a coldness we feel at soul level. When I do my prayer service, I visualize each individual being wrapped in the warmth and loving energy of angels’ wings – streaming, radiating light energy that envelops the individual with God’s, strength and healing.

I also want to share some JOY news. Andrews McMeel Publishing publishes a desk calendar annually entitled ANGELS All Around Us filled with quotations about the angels. In years past, I have been blessed by having my quotations selected for a few dates in each year’s calendar and I was very grateful for the opportunity to inspire people with thoughts about the angels. For 2007 my quotations were selected for 24 days; and Alan Seale and Joey Brenneman - contributors to the Forward of my book ANGELS BY MY SIDE received 3 days. Plus! One of my dates is AUGUST 22nd and BE AN ANGEL DAY is promoted.

This newsletter will be an Angelic Travelogue as I just got home from leading my Angel Tour 2006 to ALASKA. The Angel Tours are to destinations given to me by the angelic kingdom. I was inspired to bring a group to Alaska, because quite frankly there were infusions of energies waiting for us that we couldn’t receive anywhere else. Alaska is a pristine energy paradise. There is a purity to Alaska. A vibrational purity. An energy purity. An environmental/sacred space purity. This purity allows for consciousness exchange to easily take place between kingdoms, i.e. angelic, plant, mineral, elemental. When you are in Alaska there is a vitality and aliveness waiting to embrace you..and change you.

As I have been sharing in past newsletters, we are in a time of transformation, flux, movement and change. The Alaskan environment fully understands movement and change. It is a sacred space that has mastered the understanding that in order to survive, you have to be adaptable, flexible and able to flow with change.

In this newsletter I am going to share inspirations received from the angels through my experiences on this trip. I first want to emphasize the importance of being conscious of having a daily relationship with humans; angels; flowers; minerals, animals and the elements of the earth. Make time to dance with humans; commune with angels; be inspired by flowers, find balance and stability through minerals and learn about change from the elements.

Alaska’s motto is “North to the Future”. The angels inspired me to go to Alaska so I could experience and share the powerful healing energies of this environment – energies that will be helpful to all of us in the future. In the medicine wheel – north is the direction of empowerment. The name ALASKA comes from Alyeska - an Aleut term which means 'The Great Land'. The angels inspired me with the message: “ALAS, KA” – meaning finally, at last – KA, the eternal part of the human soul. So that ALASKA calls to you to receive – at last – an infusion – of eternalness.

There were many wonderful humans that I got to meet and “dance” with. The angels refer to life and living as an opportunity to be a heart dancer and to share our heart energies with those we meet as part of the dance of life. I would like to acknowledge Alana Perullo, owner of GOOD KARMA, who arranged two full days of readings in Anchorage for me. Also, Kathy Ensign who did the same for me in Eagle River, Alaska at The Center. To Penny Best and all the angels of the Alaskan Spiritual Circle for inviting me to speak at the Sunday service at the ATOM Center in Anchorage; and Mountain Mary who welcomed me into Mountain Mary’s Tearoom in Eagle River and gave me the opportunity to speak to her Wednesday Wisdom Women Circle.

Through the angels, I was made aware of a bed and breakfast owned by Gloria and Denny Kron in Anchorage, Alaska. At one time they had an angel store in Anchorage. Since I have been communing with the angels for 44 years, I was very much aware of the time period some years ago when angelic assignments were given to business owners throughout the USA inspiring them to open angel stores; in fact, in the past I did many workshops and readings in angel stores across the country. This was a tremendous blessing to the mass consciousness of the earth. These precious store owners brought an infusion of angelic energies to the earth and to their community.

During my stay at The Inn on the Bluff, I was delighted in being able to enjoy the Krons’ inspiring art collection on display at their home. One of the pieces of art was a painting by Andy Lakey. Andy is a purely self-taught artist. Andy was given an angelic assignment to paint 2,000 angels by the year 2000 – a task he fulfilled abundantly. Andy’s angel paintings are tactile acrylic designs that allow them to be “seen” by the blind via touch. Additionally, Andy has always donated a percentage of his earnings to charities for the blind. His art is filled with angelic energies. Many people have indicated they have experienced healings by looking at or touching the art. James Redfield, author of The Celestine Prophecy, wrote: “We exist in a universe replete with miracles and spiritual wonders, andonce we get clear of the repression and pretension that has so long plagued our society, each of us can open up to our own liberating connection to the divine. When we hear about the miraculous life of Andy Lakey..and feel the awesome presence of his paintings, we are deeply moved insideAndy has found his path with the angels..and we know that we can find ours, too.”

I once read an interview with Andy, in which he said he didn’t see or hear angels; however, when he painted he felt an angelic presence with him; a glow around him. I was delighted to learn that the Krons had been the Alaskan “Andy Lakey” connection; they sold Andy’s art in their angel store. Even more abundant is the fact that they still have a few pieces left from their store’s inventory for sale. If you would like to learn more about the Andy Lakey art available, contact: Gloria Kron at kron_elite@compuserve.com.

Skagway, Alaska is known as the Garden City of Alaska. Prior to arriving in Skagway, I had been inspired by the angels to arrange for our group to have lunch/afternoon tea at Jewell Gardens owned by Charlotte Jewell . The landscaping angels are guardians of gardens plus angels love afternoon tea. Having a garden and making time for afternoon tea are two wonderful activities that allow us to liberate the artisan energy inside of each of us. The angels gave me the message that food sustains us as a human being; however, any artistic expression or connection inspires us to be our true identity – divine.

Jewell Garden is an organic show garden growing an abundance of herbs and vegetables among brilliantly colored northern flowers. We got to see varieties that thrive on the long daylight hours of the “Land of the Midnight Sun” and had grown to spectacular size . One local Skagway gardener held the record for the world’s largest dahlia for over 30 years. The large vegetables at Jewell Garden are known as Jewell’s Giants and none of us had ever seen anything like them. The garden includes a miniature garden railroad and town site of Skagway.

Jewell Gardens reminded me a lot of Findhorn, Scotland as it’s a very magical place and Charlotte and her team of gardeners have an incredible interconnectedness with the flowers and vegetables. Charlotte definitely speaks the language of flowers. Spending the afternoon with Charlotte, re-emphasized the importance of making time in our lives to be inspired by flowers, whether growing them in our own garden or admiring them in public gardens. In the book “Garden City of Alaska – An Illustrated History of Gardening in Skagway, Alaska:” by Frank Norris there is a quote by Kozuko Okakura: “In joy or sadness, flowers are our constant friends.” Make time for your friends – the flowers. Their God assignment is to inspire us with their beauty.

In Wrangell, Alaska the angels introduced us to the Wrangell Garnet. Shortly after the beginning of the 20th century, an all-woman corporation was formed by 11 women. Their company was the Alaska Garnet Company. The word garnet evolved from a Latin root ” granatus” which meant seed. Garnet has a red color similar to the deep red color of pomegranate which was given its name because it is full of seeds. Garnet is a messenger from the mineral kingdom that brings energy to you of all that is for your highest good; it is a stone of success, i.e. full of great potential, i.e. seeds waiting to be planted and grow into blessings of goodness.

In the Victorian era garnets were used in the making of jewelry and especially in the center of rose designs, i.e. the center of love. The ladies ran their business until 1936. Eventually the property was transferred to the ownership of Fred Hanford of Wrangell who in 1962 deeded the garnet ledge rights to the Boy Scouts of America. It is the children of Wrangell who own the site now and have free use of the garnet ledge. There was something quite divine about purchasing garnets from the children of Wrangell, and also in knowing that company of all-woman had been the first owners of the ledge of garnet. When the young boy handed me my purchase, I felt the transference of the seed energy from this Crystal Child who was conveying an energy given to him by the Great Feminine.

Archangel Michael was the angelic tour leader for our 2006 Angel Tour and this was re-enforced in every town we visited as we would always see roads named St. Michael Road or churches named St. Michael Church. We spent a week on the sternwheeler ship – The Empress of the North. Captain Dale steered the ship right next to Sawyer Glacier, located near to Juneau. The glacier and icebergs were truly Archangel Michael’s electric blue energy and color. All of us were transfixed by the glacier’s energy and color. Captain Dale parked our ship by the glacier for an entire afternoon. Just prior to visiting the glacier, Captain Dale had pulled our ship next to an immense waterfall. Immediately I was reminded of my visit to Niagara Falls and how the rolling thunder of the falls is pure Archangel Michael energy. The Alaskan Falls make me equally aware of the presence of Michael. Michael’s name means: He who is like God. And I have come to add on the words: He who is like God’s power expressed through the elements of the earth.

While at Sawyer Glacier, I was thinking to myself how the energy of the glacier was so much like Archangel Michael and at that very moment an iceberg with a huge point that looked like a sword tip came bolting up from beneath the water and shot like a rocket into the air. The iceberg was the size of a six story building. Prior to that experience, I never knew that when glaciers calve, icebergs can shoot out of the water. They are known as “shooters”. I have been blessed in having had in my life many Archangel Michael “element” experiences; yet, nothing ever came near to the electric blue six-story shooter that looked like the Sword of Michael emerging from the depths of the water and heading towards the heavens.

All of us came to recognize the infusion of energies we were receiving from Archangel Michael and the glaciers. They are very much like the scales Michael is often depicted holding. On one side is humility. For all of us know who truly has the power. God alone has the power. And in our humility we surrender our ego. On the other side of the scale is acceptance that we are here to make a difference and we need to recognize we are here to serve, and be of service now.

Earlier in the week, our group had been blessed with two large pods of whales circling our ship for hours. We ourselves became an angel pod and moved as a group from one side of the ship to the other, following the movement of the whales. We were talking to the whales, singing to the whales, chanting to the whales, throwing kisses to the whales. We knew the angels were orchestrating this “circle dance” around the ship as a blessing and we were loving every precious moment of it. The Inuit, people of the Arctic, believe that the whale is the most magnificent creation that God made and was a gift from God to their people. We all felt we were being gifted, too.

At Sawyer Glacier, we became the glacier pod and moved about the outside deck of the ship whenever and wherever a calving of the glacier took place. Calving is the term that describes when a glacier throws off an ice berg. I was standing with the group and talking about the symbology of the intense blueness. Glaciers reflect all colors except blue. It is as if the glaciers treasure blue and hold the color in its fullness near to themselves. I was interpreting the color as a divine messenger of expanded consciousness and just as I finished sharing that thought with the group we heard the sound of glacier thunder. It is a sound that commands respect. It is as if the ice lets out a roar and is proclaiming, “PAY ATTENTION”. Then we saw the glacier totally transforming before our eyes as pillar after pillar of 12-story high glacier ice bergs were thrown off by the glacier and fell into the water. It was not a small section of the glacier that calved; it was a domino effect that brought down the whole front wall of the glacier. I will share that after the calving of this immensity, tsunami’s are created in the water so we all had to hold on to the railings and ride the waves out.

My husband Chuck was resting in our room, and I phoned him to come out and see the landscape changes that had occurred as a result of the glacier calving itself in totality. Chuck came out to the deck. He indicated he knew something had happened because he felt the boat being lifted by the tsunami wave. He then looked out in amazement to the icebergs now floating in the water – ice towers that just moments before were a part of a mountain of glacier ice. I started describing to Chuck what had happened, and I pointed to the left and remarked, “First there was the sound of thunder.”and following my words, we all heard thunder again. Then I said, “and then the first wall came down” ..and immediately after my words the newly revealed wall came tumbling down.”and at that point the glacier took over the commentary and we experienced for a second time the glacier calving itself in totality into the waters followed by a large tsunami wave that lifted the boat.

Needless to say all of this created a pretty perilous situation for the ship. We were now totally surrounded by gigantic chucks of icebergs, so it was a feat of abundant navigating skill that Captain Dale slowly eased our way out of the glacier bay. One of the officers commented to group members that we did not want a third glacier wall calving and encouraged them to send out “happy thoughts” to the glacier. We were told later by the Captain Dale and crew that they never had experienced what took place on that afternoon.

We all shared the experience of Michael making his presence known by the sword of ice emerging from the glacier bay; hearing the sound of power as the glacier roar; seeing the magnificent blue of the glaciers in every direction and then witnessing God power energy on the move and as the towers of power broke free. We were in absolute awe of the ALL. All of us agreed that the glacier experience was truly life changing. We were changed by what we witnessed and what we received.

Archangel Michael presence is within each of us inspiring us to embody fully the gift of spiritual consciousness in our lives. Just as the glacier, we are being reminded that we are releasing or “calving” and this release gives us a new spiritual looka new landscape within our own sacred environment.

The beautiful flowers, sparkling gems, loving angels, grace-filled elementals are all gifts from God as are the precious humans in our lives. God has given us human messengers to help us get out of our own way and dance our eternal joy dance.

One of the things I have been very self-conscious about in my life, are my two left feet. On this trip to Alaska, Chuck and I found a Native American fiddle association dance on a Saturday night. We paid the entrance fee and settled in for an evening of sitting back and listening to the groups numerous musicians. When it comes to seeing ourselves as people with no dancing genes, Chuck and I are two peas in a pod.

Well, spirit had other plans that night. One of elder members of the group, asked me to dance. Since I have been writing so much about the dance of life and wanted to convey an energy of honoring the invite, I accepted and I am quite certain it was the longest song every played. Quite frankly, I don’t think I was dancing as much with this man as I was dancing with my own fears. At the end of the dance, I felt like I had run a marathon because of all the energy I had used dealing with my fear of dancing. Yet, I did it. I danced with my fear.

Days later, at a Native American Center I had the opportunity to join in a feather dance – a blessing dance with members of the Yup’ik tribe . I jumped at the opportunity. One of the most important symbols for this tribe is called the Ellanquag or “eye of awareness”. Its design is seen on dance fans. So I felt as if I was embodying the eye of the infinite, and blessing all in attendance with vision in seeing themselves as God blessings. I danced a dance of gratefulness.

In Ketchikan, at the Saxman Spirit House, I was given the opportunity to dance with the Tlingits and to wear one of their robes, and once again I danced. I danced a dance of joy. We danced to a drum. In all cultures, the drum beings us all together.

My parents’ were farmers and so each year going to the Maryland State Fair was a family event. I don’t think I missed many Maryland State Fairs ; however this year the fair started the same day we flew to Alaska on an early morning flight. I want to thank the angels and Mountain Mary for making me aware of the Alaskan State Fair, which we attended while we were in Anchorage. Alaska’s fair is an awesome fair.

At the fair I got to be on stage with The Grand Mother Drum. From a vision of indigenous grandmothers and many hands of the multicultural Alaskan community, the large, seven-foot diameter, crystal inlaid, Grand Mother Drum was built in 2000. It is the largest drum of its kind in the world. The Grand Mother Drum is traveling the world as an international symbol of the Universal Heart that connects all races and all cultures of the human family. It brings this message: We are all one people, Mother Earth is our one country, love is stronger than fear and peace and freedom are the birthrights of all humanity. The drum will be coming to the east in 2007. It is the heartbeat of one family, one earth.

Dance your spirit dance. Drum your heart’s joy-beat. Sing your soul’s song. Celebrate your life and your interconnectedness with all the kingdoms. Some years back the angels inspired me to have this license plate: WEARE1
